Hi! I'm Niefrae, and I'm excited to share my love for art!

Born and raised in Kansas City Kansas, currently based in New York.

I discovered my love for art at a young age. Simple sketches soon led me to pick up a paintbrush, opening the door to a vibrant imagination filled with lots of color. As I got older, I came to understand the importance of having a creative outlet and I’ve never stopped creating since.

Painting is my way of expressing my emotions and imagination on canvas. It’s an open-ended journey that begins with a single brushstroke. I never know with the outcome will be, but the process excites me every time.

My work is inspired by the diverse beauty and rich culture of women of color. Their strength, resilience, and confidence are the foundation of my art, so each painting begins with a variety of vivid colors to make a bold statement. Head wraps, jewelry, and vibrant clothing are central elements to bring each painting to life.

My primary medium is acrylic paint, applied using both brushes and palette knives to create texture and depth. I love to finish each piece with a touch of gold to create beautiful reflections throughout each painting.

When I'm not creating I love spending my time volunteering to a world-wide bible education program, traveling with my wonderful husband, or getting together with amazing friends for good belly laughs!
